KGHM’a series D bonds placed on the Catalyst market in Warsaw

Series D bonds issued by KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., one of the global leaders in the production of copper and silver, were placed on the Catalyst market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The new bond series, with a nominal value of PLN 1.6 billion, was issued on 17 December 2025 and will mature in seven years from the date of issue. The interest rate on the bonds is variable and based on WIBOR 6M plus a margin of 100 base points per year.

Strategic management of the issuance program provides us with a flexible management structure and debt costs, which substantially supports the growth of Polish Copper over the long term,”  said Remigiusz Paszkiewicz, Acting President of the Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

Thanks to the funding acquired were were able to make an early redemption of the series B bonds, which led to further optimisation of our financing structure,” said Piotr Krzyżewski, Vice President of the Management Board for Finance of KGHM.

The issue of the D series bonds is part of the policy pursued by the Company to diversify its sources of financing using a diverse range of financial instruments while maintaining a safe weighted average period of their availability, taking into account the periodic nature of the markets for the key products offered by KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. The issue is also part of the process of improving the Company's cost effectiveness, which is one of the priority tasks set by KGHM. 

Bonds of the D series were registered with the National Securities Depository and placed on the Catalyst market. The nominal value of one bond is PLN 1 000, which also allows them to be traded among individual investors. Bonds of the D series were issued under an issue programme with a maximum value of up to PLN 4 billion and their total nominal value was PLN 1.6 billion.
