This year, the newspaper’s poll evaluated 250 of the country’s largest companies. The KGHM was named “the most important company for Poland” in the non-financial companies category.
“This happened thanks to our 34,000 employees who work on several continents,” stressed Marcin Chludziński, the KGHM’s CEO.
In this edition, the awards committee evaluated companies according to the criterion of their importance from the point of view of relevance to Poland, and therefore was guided by, among other things, their importance in contributing to the economic growth, the social development, the growth of innovation in the Polish economy, the economic expansion beyond the country’s borders, the growth of investments, and the increase in the well-being of citizens.
