Polish Kompas Award for the President of KGHM, Tomasz Zdzikot

The President of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. Tomasz Zdzikot received the Polish Compass award. The prize of the editors of "Gazeta Bankowa" go to enterprises and people particularly involved in the development of the Polish economy. 

During the gala, the editors of Gazeta Bankowa presented the President of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. with the following award. Tomasz Zdzikot received the Polish Kompas award "for stable, effective and impressive competition on the global market of raw materials that are key to the development and technology of copper and silver, and for responsible building of a small atom in Poland."

For years, KGHM has been among the world's leading producers of copper and silver.  In the World Silver Survey 2023 ranking, KGHM retained its first place in the list of "largest silver mines in the world" and second place in the category of "largest silver producers".  The company is ranked eighth on the list of the world's largest copper producers, developing its business in line with sustainable development and international trends.

"Polski Kompas - yearbook of financial institutions and joint-stock companies" is an annual cross-sectional publication about the Polish financial market. It is a current summary of the state of the economy, an overview of financial and insurance institutions, as well as companies listed on the WSE and reported to the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
