KGHM has won the Golden Emblem by becoming a Laureate of the Highest Quality Programme. The award in the QI ORDER category was presented to us during the European Business Forum 2022 in Katowice. The Highest Quality Programme is a nationwide project aimed at promoting effective quality management methods in companies and institutions. A secondary aim is to identify and reward those companies and institutions that represent the highest standards, guaranteeing that customers and consumers will receive a product or service of the highest quality.

- We were recognised for our anti-corruption management system according to ISO 37001, said Aldona Stajer-Stojke, Management Board Plenipotentiary for Integrated Management System at KGHM.

Transparency in management is the basis for building KGHM's credibility in the eyes of its most important stakeholders. The Zero Tolerance Principle for Corruption at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. is a part of the long-term anti-corruption strategy.

We are operating based on ISO

In connection with the implementation of an ISO 37001-compliant Anti-Corruption Management System, the Anti-Corruption Policy has been updated. In this document, the Company underlines its commitment to combating corruption in business and complying with the rules, as per the legal regulations binding in Poland.

Prevention first

In line with the 'prevention first' principle, at KGHM the risk of corruption is managed through the implementation of adequate supervisory measures. Clear procedures regulate, inter alia, the principles of dealing with business gifts, situations bearing the hallmarks of corruption, or conflicts of interest. The KGHM Anti-Corruption Policy applies to all employees and associates of the Group, as well as business partners. In addition, in each Company’s entity, persons are appointed who are responsible for ensuring compliance with the Anti-Corruption Policy.

We are training!

At KGHM, training programmes for employees on ethical standards and anti-corruption practices are carried out on an ongoing basis. We are publishing, for our employees, handbooks and films about corruption. Detailed rules of conduct are set out in the procedures for dealing with corrupt activities. These documents are available on external and internal corporate portals.

Anyone can see how we are doing it!

Implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy in KGHM Group is a proof of the Company's commitment to the fight against corruption and a clear sign, for all stakeholders, of compliance of our activities with international anti-corruption standards. It is a base for building stable, responsible and safe business relations with our partners. Link to Codes and Policies | KGHM Corporate website.
