KGHM with the Annual Award from the Minister for Culture and National Heritage

On Monday evening in the Kubicki Arcade of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Piotr Gliński, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Culture and National Heritage presented the annual Awards. KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. was honoured in the category ' Patron of Culture'.

Receiving the award, KGHM CEO Tomasz Zdzikot said 'I would like to thank Prime Minister Piotr Gliński for the award from the Minister for Culture and National Heritage. Alongside the realisation of important business goals, we at KGHM feel a responsibility for supporting Polish cultural and national heritage. KGHM was, is and will continue to be a patron of Polish culture'.

KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. sponsors institutions and events, festivals, film and theatre productions, and supports, among others, the Royal Łazienki Park, the Cistercian Abbey Complex in Krzeszów, the Wrocław Opera, the Nadwiślańskie Museum in Kazimierz Dolny, and the Museum of the Earth in Warsaw. As of 2019, KGHM is also a Patron of the Royal Castle in Warsaw.

KGHM also finances smaller, local projects, the preservation of sacred and secular cultural monuments, the restoration of paintings and sculptures. Since 2019, KGHM is a Patron of the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
