The Two Hours For the Family movement organized in Poland by the Humanites Institute is a response to the global problem of loneliness, depression, and relationship crisis. The Humanites Institute encourages companies to promote family-friendly values in their CSR activities.
In Warsaw, during a special conference, KGHM received an award “for building an organization with a human being at its center and for wellbeing ideas worth paying attention to.”
The “Two Hours for the Family” campaign is part of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.’s policy of supporting employees and their families. As part of the campaign, on May 15, 2023, which is the International Family Day, we presented new packages, i.e. gifts for KGHM employees on the occasion of the birth of a child.
We also organized picnics and family picnics, held a photo contest for KGHM families “With Passions Across Generations,” and collected employee’s photos from mountain hikes and published them in a special album. We also held a workshop for KGHM employees intended to improve their parenting skills.
This year we also initiated the KGHM Reader’s Club as part of the development of the existing “Parent’s Library.” Bicycle Rallies for Foster Families were also held in Jakuszyce in connection with KGHM’s “Have a Family” social campaign.
Information about all the family-friendly projects underway at KGHM can be found at kghm.com/rodzina.
KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. has participated in the “Two Hours for the Family” campaign since 2019, promoting family values and spending time off with loved ones. In 2023, we joined the campaign for the fifth time.
