KGHM on the TOP10 CIT taxpayers list for 2022

The KGHM Tax Group paid about PLN 1.3 billion in CIT to the state budget for 2022, and in terms of the value of the CIT paid for that year, it is among the leading taxpayers that are tax groups.

The award, handed by the Finance Minister Magdalena Rzeczkowska and the head of the National Tax Administration inspector Bartosz Zbaraszczuk, was received by Agnieszka Sinior - the General Manager of the Corporate Service Center and Chief Accountant of KGHM.

For years, the KGHM Group has been at the top of the list of the largest CIT taxpayers prepared by the Ministry of Finance. KGHM pays income tax as the KGHM II Tax Group.

In addition, KGHM also pays local taxes to the local governments of the Copper Belt in which it operates. In 2022, they amounted to more than 300 million zlotys. The amount of property tax, on the other hand, was more than 230 million zlotys.
