Thanks to the local taxes paid by KGHM, Lower Silesia and the Copper Belt can develop. In 2022, we paid PLN 300 million in local taxes. The amount of property tax, on the other hand, was more than PLN 230 million.
KGHM also supports many social activities in Lower Silesia dedicated to its inhabitants. For this purpose, the copper giant has already transferred a total of PLN 13.5 million to local governments since 2020 (PLN 3.5 million in 2022).
