KGHM employees with the award of Volunteer of the Year 2021

The Lubin Poviat has honoured the Volunteers of the Year 2021 with symbolic statuettes. Among those honoured were employees and volunteers of KGHM.

The employee volunteer programme in our Company supports grass-roots ideas and concepts of the employees, but the title of KGHM Volunteer may be enjoyed by anyone who at least once joined any of the organised campaigns or made a contribution to organised fund-raising events. None of these would have been successful without the support and commitment of the staff.

"I am very proud and appreciative. Voluntary activities are the quintessence of KGHM's values. You cooperate, organise projects with courage and take responsibility for your colleagues and their families. You are mindful of others, you do not close yourselves off to those in need. You prove that we can be a support and inspiration to each other, thank you!", emphasises Marcin Chludziński, President of KGHM.

"This statuette is a thank you for your participation in the actions organised in KGHM. It is also especially fitting for people who, despite the pandemic, did not stop in their activities and devoted their free time to helping others," says Natalia Kalinowska, volunteer coordinator at KGHM.
