KGHM awarded for its patronage of culture!

KGHM received the Azimuth award from the Polish Economic Society in the “Patron of Culture” category. The award was received by Mateusz Wodejko, the Vice President of the Management Board for Finance.

KGHM is an active patron of sports, culture, and arts. For many years, it has participated in the organization or has assumed the patronage of significant undertakings at the local, national, and international levels. The company consistently promotes cultural events and activities throughout Poland. It supports, among other things, film and theater productions, as well as festivals.

The involvement of KGHM in cultural initiatives, as well as artistic and sports activities, results from the goals set out in the company’s Business Strategy. The KGHM Polska Miedź Foundation also works for the benefit of local communities in Lower Silesia.
