Golden Laurel of "Super Biznes" 2023 in the "Innovation" category

The editors of the "Super Biznes" magazine honoured KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. with the "Super Biznes" 2023 Golden Laurel award in the "Innovation" category. On behalf of the Company, the award was received by Tomasz Zdzikot, President of the Management Board, and Mateusz Wodejko, Vice-President for Finance.

"KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. is an innovation leader in Poland and in the world. The company is constantly looking for technologies that will help, on the one hand, reduce production costs and, on the other hand, enable greater recovery of copper and associated metals. At the same time, the company ensures the safety of its employees and protects the natural environment. In 2023, KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. intends to allocate 1 percent the Company's annual revenue for innovations and research and development projects, this amounts to nearly PLN 200 million," we read in the justification of the award jury.

The Golden Laurel of "Super Biznes" competition was held for the 10th time. This is a prestigious award granted to individuals, institutions and enterprises for activities that bring particular benefits to the Polish economy. It was established in 2014 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Poland's economic freedom and the 10th anniversary of Poland's membership in the European Union by the editors of the entrepreneurial magazine Super Biznes, published by ZPR Media Group.
