Tomasz Zdzikot has served as the President of the Management Board of Poczta Polska S.A. since April 2020. He is also the Vice-President of the Supervisory Board of EXATEL S.A. In the years 2020 and 2021, he was President of the Supervisory Board of Poczta Polska Usługi Cyfrowe Sp. z o.o. Since November 2021, he has been the Chairman of the Team of Social Advisors to the Minister of Defense for Cybersecurity. In December 2021, he was appointed by the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda to the Security and Defense Council within the framework of the National Development Council.
From 2018 to 2020, KGHM’s new CEO served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defense. During these years, he also served as the Defense Minister’s Representative for Cyberspace. He was responsible, among other things, for the development, implementation, and subsequent performance of a program aimed to enhance the capabilities of the Polish Armed Forces to operate in the cyberspace.
Earlier (since 2015), he served at the Ministry of Interior and Administration in the position of a vice-minister. He was also the Government Representative for the Preparation of State Administration Bodies for Cooperation with the Schengen Information System and the Visa Information System. In the past, Tomasz Zdzikot also served as an advisor to the deputy President of Warsaw and as an advisor to the Mazowieckie Province Governor. He was the vice president of the Centrum Bankowo - Finansowe “Nowy Świat” S.A. - a company established by the State Treasury and the Warsaw University Foundation. He worked for many years in the Legal Department of the Office of the National Broadcasting Council, including as the vice-director of the department.
Tomasz Zdzikot is a legal adviser, a member of the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw, and a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and doctoral studies at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He has also completed, among other things, the Top Public Executive program organized by the IESE Business School in Barcelona and the President Lech Kaczyński National School of Public Administration, MBA studies in Cybersecurity from the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Jarosław Dąbrowski Military University of Technology in Warsaw, and Postgraduate Studies in Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Command and Naval Operations at the Heroes of Westerplatte Naval Academy in Gdynia.
