The fourth edition of the “Ambassador of Poland” plebiscite is launched

Tuesday, 23 August, 2022
Another edition of the “Ambassador of Poland’ competition will start on August 23. The purpose of the plebiscite is to recognize those who work to improve Poland’s reputation abroad on a daily basis. Like in previous years, ambassadors will be nominated in the following categories: science, culture, sports, and the voters’ award.

The KGHM, as an ambassador of Poland’s economy, attaches special importance to the promotion of outstanding individuals who, through their commitment and work in various areas of life, promote a positive image of the country.

“This is the fourth edition of our plebiscite. We see that the need to recognize and appreciate people who make our country well-known in the world is very important. In each of the previous editions of the plebiscite, we received many nominations of outstanding individuals in each category. We hope that this year, too, we will be able to thank the best ones and encourage them to further promote Poland on the international arena,” said Marcin Chludziński, the CEO of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A.

Between August 23 and September 4, anyone can nominate their candidate using the online form at: ambasadorpolski.tvp.pl. There are as many as four categories to choose from: ambassador of Polish science, ambassador of Polish sports, ambassador of Polish culture, and a special voters’ award. From all entries, ten finalists from each category will be selected. The winners of the plebiscite will be selected by the awards committee.

In addition, during the final gala, Marcin Chludziński, the CEO of KGHM Polska Miedź S.A., will present a special award to a person, team, or organization that makes a special contribution to the promotion of our country internationally.

The Polish Television has assumed the media patronage of the Ambassador of Poland 2022 competition.
