The quality of investor relations amongst companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange is assessed on the basis of voting by institutions and by individual investors. Votes cast by the latter group gave KGHM an average grade of 4.3 points (on a scale from 1 to 6), followed by PZU (4.2) and the Tauron group (4.1).
„Good communications is based on combining the areas of dialogue as regards information, education, technology, as well as a proactive approach to changes on the market and the needs of its participants. In our IR role we have to be constantly available – only then can we provide solid support to investors. The keys to success are rapid reaction, flexibility and availability of the Company’s representatives: both members of the IR team, Company experts and of course the Management Board. We are open to dialogue with our stakeholders,” says Andrzej Kensbok, CFO of KGHM.
KGHM’s Investor Relations Team maintained its place in this ranking. A year ago the leaders were KGHM and Tauron (each company receiving 4.1 points). Importantly, year after year KGHM’s IR team is also improving its reputation amongst institutional investors and analysts, with a position five places higher in the ranking of the best financial communications teams.
Interest in the shares of KGHM is steadily growing, with the dialogue with stakeholders building a good reputation for the copper giant, as demonstrated by this subsequent award for the Company’s Investor Relations Department.
Amongst its activities in 2021, KGHM’s Investor Relations Team continued the publication of its Newsletter for Investors. The IR section of KGHM’s website is continuously updated, new promotional materials for investors and the media are regularly being prepared, while new tools are being added to those currently supporting IR communications.
